The Japanese Church of Christ is excited to announce the upcoming Natsu Matsuri, a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture and fellowship with the community. The festival will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 11:00am to 5:00pm at the JCC located at 268 West 100 South, SLC. The Natsu Matsuri aims to share the rich traditions of Japanese culture while raising funds for the Japanese Church of Christ. Attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in various exhibits, including origami, bonsai, ikebana, photo displays and onigiri (rice ball) making workshop. The festival will also feature cultural entertainment, such as taiko drummers, Judo and Martial Arts demonstrations, a traditional Japanese fashion show and choir performances.
