BlocBoy JB is a rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He released six mixtapes from 2016-17, and his single “Shoot” and accompanying viral dance caught the attention of Drake who connected BlocBoy with producer Tay Keith, and recorded the single “Look Alive.”
BlocBoy’s debut album SIMI, which is named for his slain friend, was released on May 4, 2018.
