Omar Pineiro, known professionally as Smokepurpp, is an American rapper hailing from Miami-Dade County, FL. He was born May 15, 1997, in Chicago, IL, but his family moved to Florida when he was 3-years-old. Before he started getting into producing he did video editing. His earliest songs date back to July of 2015 and has collaborated with Travis Scott, XXXTentacion, and his good friend Lil Pump. In 2017, Smokepurpp signed to Travis Scott’s record label, Cactus Jack records.
