Back in the mid 80’s many artists that made Hip Hop music started to sustain the Kick Drum sound of the Roland TR-808 drum machine. This was the birth of Miami Bass music. I was really in to this music back in high school and loved groups like 2 Live Crew, Bass Patrol, Gucci Crew and producers such as DJ Magic Mike, Techmaster P.E.B., Beat Dominator, and Dynamix II.
