Here Are 5 of The Most Haunted Places In America, Did Utah Make The Cut?

If getting into the Halloween spirit for you is more than enjoying pumpkin spiced drinks while dressed in black and watching Hocus Pocus, then perhaps you’d consider a trip to some of the most haunted locations in America.

1.Out in Long Beach, California is a decommissioned WWII ship that has been turned into a hotel and museum called the Queen Mary. Living up to its nickname, “The Grey Ghost,” visitors claim to hear screams and see spirits lurking in the hallways.

2. In Philly, an abandoned prison that once housed Al Capone has been turned into a Halloween attraction, where laughter still echoes from the walls.

3 & 4. This might have been left out of US History class. With somewhere between 46,000 and 51,000 dying on the battlefield, Gettysburg is allegedly haunted, while the White House is said to be inhabited by the ghosts of Presidents Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln.

5. The Ben Lomond Hotel is one of the most haunted hotels in Utah. A bride drowned in the bathtub on her wedding night in room 1102. Now, any guests who stay in the room say they hear the water in the tub running by itself and some people have even described being pushed under the water by a ghost! But thats not all, it gets worse… after the bride died, its reported that her son came to the hotel to grab all her left over belongings and stayed in the room next door. Rumor has it that he was overcome with sadness and he took his own life. Now he is said to be haunting the hotel as well!
