The Lake Mary Trail (Brighton Lakes Trail) is a two-mile roundtrip trail located up at Brighton Ski Resort. The trail features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate with an elevation gain of 715 feet. It’s an easy hike for kids and those who don’t necessarily like to hike that much.
To get to the trailhead take Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (7000 South Wasatch Blvd.) up to Brighton Ski Resort, which will take you approximately 23 minutes. The trailhead is located behind the Mt. Majestic Lodge. Once you get to Lake Mary you can continue to hike up to Lake Martha (not too far away) and Lake Catherine (further away).
