How To Survive Monday After Day Light Savings [Nikki Rae’s 3 Way]

Ugh. The worst time of the year has arrived. Day Light Savings…Spring ahead and lose an hour of you day. It always takes a few days to adjust to the time change, and it’s the worst.

If you’re dreading Monday, here are 3 ways to survive the Monday blues after Day Light Savings.

Avoid Stimulants

Avoid resorting to coffee to get yourself up early and alcohol to help you get to sleep. Also avoid eating and exercising late on Sunday too. All these stimulants make it harder for you to fall asleep.

Stick to Your Schedule

The time change may throw off your sleep schedule, but try to stick to it as much as possible. Going to bed later than normal is going to make your days drag, and make you way more tired in the morning. You’re already using an hour, don’t make it harder on yourself. Experts even suggest getting to bed a little earlier for the first few days.

Get Some Sun

Getting some sunlight helps our bodies adjust to the time change. So this week, seek direct sun exposure as early as possible.
