Kev’s Teacher of The Week: Bountiful High School

THANK YOU, TEACHERS…

This week (Wednesday, May 30) I traveled up to Bountiful High School. We had solicited for students to vote on our website and Bountiful High had the most votes so we came through for their lunch hour with subway and some good tunes. However, in order for the student to receive Subway, I made them nominate their favorite teacher at the school.

A total of 87 votes were placed with 30 teachers receiving nominations.

With 12 nominations from her students, Kev’s Teacher of The Week is Mrs. Gardner.

Angela Gardner teaches CE Communications 2110, English 12: College Prep, Reading 180, and ESL at the school. Here’s what some student’s had to say about her,

“She’s really supportive and respectful to her students.”

“She works with the students and really cares about our education.”

“She always pushes us to look deeper into works of literature and creates an inclusive environment.”

“Her attitude and knowledge. She really wants us to understand.”

“Awesome at teaching and makes school fun.”

“She is an amazing teacher and has taught me so much this year.”

There was a two-way tie for second place with nine nominations each. Math Teacher Jason Freckleton, and Biology/Chemistry/Student Government teacher Vickie Ludwig.

In third place, with 6 nominations each was Erick Winkler.

Congratulations to all of the teachers at Bountiful High School who received votes, we appreciate all that you do for the rising generation.
