19 Year Old Kenneka Jenkins Raped And Murdered By Friends For $200?

On Saturday night, Kenneka Jenkins left her home to attend a party with friends at the Crowne Plaza hotel outside of Chicago. After her mother reported her as missing when she did not return, police eventually found her body in the hotel’s walk-in freezer. Jenkins’ mother suspects foul play but says the police believe Jenkins could have accidentally locked herself in the freezer.

The story has created an outcry on social media for answers, with celebrities like Chance the Rapper, SZA, and more tweeting about it. People across the country have express their opinions, theories,  and thoughts on what really went down and how the night played out.

As of now, the police have not made an official statement on what they believe happened to Kenneka Jenkins that night.

Social media has speculated Kenneka was set up by her best friend, to be raped and murdered by 3 men who were invited to the hotel party,  for $200. The suspected motive? Jealousy. Rumor has it the ladies had not hung out or spoken on a regular basis for a while, before the incident. Three of her friends were on Facebook Live during the alleged rape and/or murder of Kenneka with no shown remorse or care for the incident. Friends close to the parties involved have shared their sides of who were all involved, and who they believe to be at fault.
