The head of G-Unit, 50 Cent announced that Lloyd Banks is no longer with the label.
Fifty announced on Instagram that a new mixtape was coming from Banks and encouraged fans to be on the lookout for it. According to the post: “Independence Day, he is doing his own thing and you know it’s gonna be loaded with bars.”
50 Cent didn’t mention what may have driven Banks to go solo moving forward, but during an interview, Curtis Jackson mentioned that his relationship with Banks wasn’t the same after Banks father died, “Alright, he passed away, but you can’t just go home and stay home,”.
Could this announcement be on the heels of a new G-Unit album?
