Can Curtis Jackson Redeem Himself?
It’s been almost four years since 50 Cent threw out arguably the worst ceremonial first pitch in MLB history. If you can’t remember, this might refresh your memory.

It was so bad that they even made his own baseball card. (Yeah, that was a real thing.)

Well, it turns out 50 wants to redeem himself but is waiting for a special occasion, such as a World Series game, to accept. Turns out he might get a shot at redemption, however, it won’t be on his terms in the World Series. The New York Mets have invited the fellow Queens native (via Twitter) to toss out the ceremonial first pitch at a game this upcoming 2018 season.
Hey @50cent, we heard you’re ready to redeem yourself?! Here is your invite to throw out a first pitch this season. Toss a strike this time! #50FirstPitch https://t.co/WUZlUTHbHK

While promoting his upcoming movie Den of Thieves, he admitted to Newsday that he regrets agreeing to do the toss.
“Listen, no one warned me…No one said: ‘Risk versus reward!’ I would have kept my [expletive] in the stands. This is never going away.”
Whenever his second chance comes, I pray that he throws a strike over the middle, or else I can’t even imagine how bad Twitter will go in on him again.
