At tonight’s VIP star-studded reveal party at Tesla’s design studio Elon rolled out on stage with what I like to imagine is a step closer to Optimus Prime becoming a reality.
Musk says their semi-truck offering will go 0-60mph in 5 seconds. That’s high performance territory thanks to sharing parts with their “baby sedan” the Model 3. Think range is an issue? With a claimed 500 mile range fully loaded maintaining 65mph helps to continue Tesla’s mission to build a sustainable energy company. My V10 bimmer definitely doesn’t get near that range. Charging will require their “mega chargers”. Tesla guarantees the drive train for A MILLION MILES. Nobody’s touching that warranty.
