On Mother’s Day, Babyface was going to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack. Unfortunately it was postponed due to the death of friend and music legend, Andre Harrell. The date for the IG Live listening and storytelling has been rescheduled for this Sunday, May 24th at 8pm EST.
In a clip on his Instagram page, he discussed the process of writing a song for Toni Braxton. He said you have to sing with a little water in your mouth. He said this way, they won’t completely understand what you are singing. He said you also have to sing with a lot of emotion like someone stole your puppy.
