Police have reported that a BYU student is in critical condition after falling from the 4th floor of the Tanner building on campus.
The woman, whose name and age have not been released, fell around 9am on Monday where other students witnessed the fall. BYU has offered counseling services to any students who saw and were affected by the fall.
It’s still unclear what caused the accident.
BYU announced in a tweet that the Tanner Building is closed for the day and all classes at the building are cancelled.
This morning a tragic incident occurred in the Tanner Building involving one of our students.
Help is available to our campus community. Counselors are available at 750 Tanner Building and at the Counseling Center at 1500 Wilkinson Student Center.
