A Minneapolis company just became the top company for animal lovers around the globe.
Nina Hale Marketing is offering new pet owners a week of “fur-ternity” leave so that they can make arrangements and adjust to their new way of life. The company’s vice-president said little things like this help keep employees happy at work.
The policy was inspired by an employee who had just adopted a Goldendoodle. The employee wanted to be there to help his new puppy settle into his home.
Do you agree or do you think this goes too far? I agree, in the fact that happy employees produce the best work. I believe that companies need to focus more on their employee’s happiness rather than the client’s happiness, but that’s just me.
