CVS Bans PHOTOSHOP On Their Beauty Ads

Realness and dopiness is going to make a comeback this year, I can feel it!

In an age of photoshop, Facetune, and trying to keep up with the Kardashians, its hard to tell what pics are real, and whats been retouched. We’ve been so conditioned to accept that an air-brushed face and smooth skin is the norm that we forgot what REAL women look like.

Well, CVS has decided they’ve had enough! Today they announced they will no longer use digitally enhanced photos on their beauty ads starting now, and to be completed by the end of 2020. They’ve also challenged the beauty companies that sell their products in CVS to do the same!  CVS has vowed to mark photos with a “CVS Beauty Mark” on their ads starting this year to let consumers know that a photo has not been retouched.

“We have a responsibility” said CVS in their statement.
