According to DMX’s probate documents, Def Jam paid for his funeral.
A receipt dated May 5 shows the label covered the services of Earl Simmons. Costs included the transfer of remains to the funeral home, embalming, plus the hearse and flowers. Also included was the cost of the customized red casket which cost $7,450. The total cost of the funeral was $35,228.13. Not sure if that includes the monster truck.
