In case you were wondering, a drone cannot support six pounds of meth. Don’t believe me? Thinking about testing it out? Well, lucky for you, you don’t have to even try…someone has already gone above and beyond for you. Unfortunately for them, though, their drone crashed in a supermarket parking lot and was confiscated by Tijuana police.
The particular model of drone used in this innovative smuggling effort was a Spread Wings 900 “hexacopter”, which sells on Amazon for about $1400. Long story short, someone just lost a nice chunk of change. Good news? Criminals are doing their creative part to keep up with technology. What a relief, right?
