In a statement, Essence said their 2020 festival will continue as planned July 1 through July 5th. Headliners are Janet Jackson and Bruno Mars.
They said they are monitoring the coronavirus situation and are securing other dates just in case but as of now they are not postponing or canceling. In the statement they said their first priority is the health and safety of festival-goers.
