One woman became a millionaire by accident!
I wish I was kidding, but this happened to Oksana Zaharov, 46, and mother of two.
“I was sure the ticket was fake.”
Now how this life changing accident became ones reality.. Ms. Zaharov decided to buy a $1 scratch-off ticket while shopping in Manhattan. The clerk had accidentally handed her a $10 “Set For Life” ticket by mistake.
Oksana Zaharov said, “When the clerk handed me the wrong ticket, I felt bad so I decided to just go ahead and buy it, I actually used the ticket as a bookmark for a couple of weeks before I decided to scratch it.”
Eventually the bookmark was scratched and her life went in a new direction.
“I never win anything,” she said. “I was sure the ticket was fake.”
Zaharov will receive a minimum of $5 million over the course of 20 years. But if that isn’t enough, she’ll receive $172,068 annually for the rest of her life.
The new member of the millionaires club plans a big family vacation to the Bahamas!
“They will have a loan-free college education,” she said.
