Sorry but I probably will not be joining you at the theaters for this one, lol. But if you were a big fan of the Chucky movies from back in the day you’ll be excited that the reboot is coming this summer. The original flick debuted in 1988. Aubrey Plaza is set to return to the film as the mother tormented by her son’s doll Chucky. Mark Hammill will play the role of Chucky himself.

From the initial teaser, it seems this re-imagination might not star a haunted doll, as did the original, but instead a highly advanced robotic doll whose AI, presumably, has gone a bit too far. (Anyone who owned a Furby in the 90s can probably relate.) But regardless of the specific origin of this doll’s consciousness, rest assured: it looks like he’s just as deadly as ever.
Is it just me but does Chucky looks like an IG model?
