Before sobering up, Flavor Flav recently said he spent almost $1 million on drugs at his low point. In addition, Flav talked about his substance abuse in his 2011 memoir, Flavor Flav: The Icon The Memoir.
The Public Enemy MC/Hypeman celebrated two years of sobriety on the “Off The Record” podcast, hosted by DJ Academiks. Flav also revealed he didn’t know how bad his addiction had become. “There was a time that I was spending $2,400 to $2,600 a day… for six years straight,” Flavor Flav said. “You do the math. That’s how much I spent on drugs.”
Not only was Flav using, but he was also dealing drugs and admitted he “was his own best customer.” So what do you spend most of your money on?
