Fox News Refers To Jay-Z as a “Former Crack Dealer”

According to fans, Fox News has crossed the line. As Fox tweeted a link to a story regarding Police Policy that involved Jay-Z, they decided to somewhat trash the rappers name throughout the headline and the story.

“Andrew Cuomo Meets with Admitted Former Crack Dealer Jay-Z To Discuss Police Policy” –this was the title to the article. Following that the author began the news story with a sentence that said, “If advice is needed on the law, Cuomo headed straight for an “expert.”

As the writer chose to completely ignore all of Jay-Z’s accomplishments, he didn’t fail to remind us about all of his hard times. Also mentioned throughout the article were references and claims that Jay Z’s music career has been built on personal experiences with dealing crack in the Marcy housing projects in Brooklyn. Along with that they also mentioned the 187 references that the rapper has made to drugs throughout his 12 solo albums.

It seems as if Fox News has is out for Jay-Z and his career, yet it isn’t the first time a celebrity has encountered this. In the past they have also had issues with other rappers such as Cam’ron, Ludacris, and Nas. What do you think about this?
