Today’s #HometownHero is Great Harvest Bread Co. in Taylorsville!
The cafe is offering free loaves of bread to government employees affected by the shutdown and will continue to do so until the shutdown is over.
In a Facebook post, they wrote:
“The ripple effects of this tantrum are widespread and REAL! If you are caught in this crazy — we are here to help how we can – we will keep bread on this shelf till things calm down – please let those who are caught in this know we have bread for them… we are so sorry! #youarenotalone #greatharvesttaylorsville”
The post sparked an outpouring of love and appreciation for the business and has amassed almost 3,000 shares on Facebook since it was posted Wednesday.
