Utah’s Lauri Markkanen and Damian Lillard Set for NBA 3-Point Contest
The list of contestants for this year’s NBA 3-Point Contest has been leaked ahead of All-Star Weekend. Here’s the list, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania:
Damian Lillard, Trail Blazers
Jayson Tatum, Celtics
Tyrese Haliburton, Pacers
Buddy Hield, Pacers
Kevin Huerter, Kings
Tyler Herro, Heat
Anfernee Simons, Trail Blazers
Lauri Markkanen, Jazz
Hield and Lillard will be participating in their third career 3-point contest. Lillard might be the hometown favorite because of his links to Weber State. Hield is the only former winner in the field, taking the crown in 2020. The 3-Point Contest will be held Saturday night.
