The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, has passed away at the age of 76. A publicist for Aretha confirmed that she died in her Detroit home on Thursday morning after a long battle with advanced pancreatic cancer.
After the news broke, Lauryn Hill, Chance the Rapper, Diddy, and Nicki Minaj were among many hip-hop artists who payed their respects.
