Kanye West confirmed via Twitter on Thursday that his album “Yandhi” will be dropping Saturday, September 29th.

What’s odd about this is that Lil Wayne is dropping his highly, highly anticipated album ‘The Carter V’ on Thursday night.. and Ye’s not typically one to share the spotlight.
Back in 2007, 50 Cent and Ye had major beef after announcing the same album release date. 50 even said that he would stop writing music if his album did less numbers than Kanye… and Yeezy’s ‘Graduation’ crushed 50’s ‘Curtis’ with almost double the sales.
So yeah — Kanye isn’t exactly known for accepting 2nd place.
But Yeezy says it’s all good, and that he knows what he’s up against.
