There’s no question that in Kendrick Lamar’s short career, and only being 30 years old, he’s made a monumental impact on the industry and the black community as a whole. Love him or hate him you can’t deny his influence on the culture.
And for that reason, author Marcus J. Moore has signed a deal with Touchstone Books to pen a cultural biography called The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America. Check out his tweet (below).
Surprisingly a lot of fans are against the book! Stating that K.Dot is “too young” or “hasn’t been in the game long enough” to deserve such an honor.
Some big news I’ve been eager to share: I’ve signed with @TouchstoneBooks to write the cultural biography of Kendrick Lamar. My book, “The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America,” will detail his rise to rap superstardom. pic.twitter.com/6Fm68sFBad
