Best known for her 2011 single “Gucci Gucci”, Kreayshawn has finally resurfaced. In a series of tweets, she announced that she grew up “too privileged” to be profiting off of rap music which is why she stepped away from it.

.. I at the time understood as all I knew. Being broke and being a bad person but, I stepped off that because, I was too privileged.”
She went on to explain why she believes that women of color making music deserved it more than her.
“So many gr8 and talented WOC who make music deserved that spot.more than me. And to take that spot with my white ass self was an insult”
