Deleted everything…
Lil Uzi Vert made a surprise announcement last weekend (Jan. 11) when he posted to his Instagram story about his decision to step away from music.
“I wanna take the time out to say I thank each and every one of my supports but I’m done with Music. I deleted everything. I wanna be normal … I wanna wake up in 2013.”
Fans were expecting Uzi to drop his sophomore studio album, Eternal Atake, sometime this year. Uzi has been teasing the project for a while and even confirmed the project was complete during a recent show held in his hometown of Philadelphia.
Selfishly, I would love for Uzi to rethink his statement and continuing to create music, however, I want him to be “normal” again so I understand if he’s being for real.
