We are so excited to launch the new U92 website. It has been 18 months since we redesigned the site and in that time we received a lot of feed back from you, the listeners, about features that you liked and things you didn’t. We have been working since then to come up with a new site that showed you everything you asked for (and few things you’ll be excited to see that you didn’t know about). Radio is still at the heart and soul of everything we do here at U92, and this new website allows us to give you a rich and engaging multimedia experience on any device.
Our website looks dramatically different from the previous version, and we know it will be a more intuitive, beautiful and shareable way to interact with U92.
Here are 5 things you need to know about the new website:
1. New Streamlined Format to View Content
We have removed the HUGE slider from the home page and instead give you a snap shot for everything that is U92. From the home page you can see an overview of everything that is happening at the station including promotions, lineup, concerts, and more!
2. New Streamer
The new streamer on U92 features the song and artist currently playing. You can click the title to learn more about the song including lyrics, music videos, other top tracks, concerts from that artist in your area, or you can even buy the song.
Click the clock icon and you can see U92’s playlist of songs.
Explore the new streamer and let us know which features you like best!
3. New Contest Page Layout
The new contest page breaks up what type of contest we have going on including Enter to Win, Text-2-Win, or On-Air contests only. No longer will you be confused about all the different ways you can win our awesome prizes!
4. New Video Page
The new video page design gives you easy access to watch all of our hilarious videos, VIP interviews, BARZ with DJ Erockalypze, and more! This set up also give you a quick one-click option to watch all the videos without having to load a new page each time.
5. New Concert & Events Page
We no longer have two separate pages for concerts and events. Get all your local information in one place including U92 concerts, station events, and all local events. You can change the category to filter for activities that you are interested in.
Some honorable mentions to the new web design include the new U-Crew page where you can get all the news in one spot.
