It’s been sometime since Jon Gruden held the reins as Head Coach of the Silver & Black. The current ESPN analyst and Monday Night Football host would be the perfect fit for the organization who signed QB Derek Carr to a $125 million dollar contract last year.
After three seasons with the Raiders, Jack Del Rio was fired as Head Coach shortly after the season finale loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. This if anytime looked like the best opportunity for owner Mark Davis to pursue Gruden.
Besides a possible hefty salary, there have been rumors that Davis offered Gruden an ownership stake with the Raiders.
