On Sunday, June 6th, Poetik C and I had the opportunity to rock a DJ set for the Pride Parade for their 41 year anniversary. The parade was a huge success! I have loved watching this event grow over the years. It’s so much more than gay pride, now it’s about being confident in exactly who you are and supporting our community to love and respect everyone. You know Poe and I brought that High Noon Mix flavor to the parade, but of course I had to throw in some Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys to get the crowd really dancing. Big shout out to the B-boy Federation and the Dizz Leg for hyping the crowd for us the whole way through! This is an event that I look forward every year and this one did not disappoint. If there’s anything I love more than my U-Crew, it’s unicorns and glitter. 😉
