Rae Sremmurd’s love for comic books have always been high. In a new collaboration with Valiant, the “Black Beatles” group teamed up with the superhero publisher to produce their first comics project titled SHADOWMAN/RAE SREMMURD #1 .
Written by Eliot Rahal, the comic details the showdown between the epic superhero Shadowman and the hip-hop group. For Slim Jxmmi, teaming up with Valiant was a dream come true.
“Comic books are a form of entertainment. I get to make all the sounds and effects in my head. It’s just like you use your imagination – you go through the pictures and the pictures are always awesome. It’s like an escape from reality,” he said in a statement to Billboard.
The comic hits shelves in October.
