Ravens QB Lamar Jackson To President Trump “Commute Sentence Of Kodak Black”

Kodak Black is hoping his childhood friend, Baltimore Raven QB can help him get pardoned.

Lamar Jackson tweeted the president on Tuesday (January 5th) asking for Kodak Black to be commuted. He went on to say “the system punished him way too hard for a paperwork crime.” Black is serving 46 months in prison for falsifying paperwork during a background check for firearms. He also was out on bond for a sexual assault case when he was arrested for crossing the border from Canada to New York with marijuana and a firearm in 2019. Black had written the judge in his case asking for a reduced sentence but was denied due to “lacking a compelling reason” for release. As of now, the president hasn’t responded to Lamar’s tweet.
