Congratulations go out to Rihanna. She reached a major milestone this past week and joins an elite group of musicians. With “Love On The Brain” moving into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart this past week, the 29 year-old singer sits in third place for most Top 10 hits of all time. She moved passed Michael Jackson, who has 29, and reached her 30th mega hit. Dating back to the chart’s Aug. 4, 1958, inception, only Madonna, with 38, and The Beatles, with 34, boast more.
I did the math and noticed she averages about 4 songs per album that reach the top 10 so I’m sure it won’t be long before she takes the No. 2, or even the highly coveted No. 1 spot.
Here are Rihanna’s 30 Billboard Hot 100 Top 10’s in order with title, peak position on the chart and the date.
