Its been a hell of a year for female R&B singer SZA. With the release of her first single to ever make noise on the charts (“Love Galore” Feat. Travis Scott) her life in 2017 has been full of nothing but success. From winning her first award EVER at the Soul train Awards this year, to being the female with the most Grammy nominations at next years awards ceremony.
SZA seems to have it all, but it wasn’t always that way. Her fans were let into a private and intimate part of her past when she took to Instagram today to thank everyone for their support. In the letter she mentions being homeless, having no job, and not graduating high school.
It was a heart felt “thank you” to her fans and the academy her nominations. A lot can change in a year, and SZA is living proof that hard work and dedication results to greatness.
Check out her letter below.
