Unplugged…
Jay-Z has made a commitment to help up-and-coming artists. TIDAL has created a $1 million grant (split between artists) to help jumpstart their careers.
The grant, which is called “TIDAL Unplugged,” will allow artists to submit their music directly onto TIDAL for consideration. If selected, the artist will split $1 million dollars with the other selected artists. Each winner will also have an individual game plan made for their career and receive other forms of mentorship.

The grant will begin on March 1 and entries must be acapella or with an acoustic guitar. All genres of music are invited to submit an entry.
Do you know of someone that would benefit from this grant? What’s the hardest thing about getting into the music industry?
