Travis Scott Donates $100K to Houston After-School Program

For the city…

Travis Scott is being sued for keeping a $217,000 deposit after canceling, but at least he’s putting the money to good use. The Houston Chronicle reports Scott has donated $100,000 to Workshop Houston, an after-school program that operates in his hometown.

Workshop Houston participated at the Astroworld tour, which is how Scott became aware of the program. Workshop Houston provides tutoring and gives local kids an opportunity to get into music production, dance, theatre, fashion, and graphic design.

After learning more about the program Scott decided to donate the money.

The after-school program has many plans they would like to use Scott’s donation like a design program for students who will recreate the Milly gown worn by former first lady Michelle Obama in her official White House portrait.
