“It’s Complicated…”
After teasing a release of some kind on his Instagram Story on Monday (March 12), Wale followed through on his promise, after teasing a release on his Instagram Story (March 12th), and dropped his latest EP, It’s Complicated. The EP serves as Wale’s first project since his 2017 studio album Shine, as well as the first since he parted ways with Atlantic Records.
It didn’t take him long to put the four-track-project together either, as he answered a twitter users question.

The solo feature on the EP comes from Cash Money Records singer-songwriter Jacquees.
Wale says the EP is “a story about ‘a’ love life” in his Instagram caption.
