WATCH: Jazz Rookie Donovan Mitchell Surprises Mom With New Car

Christmas came early this year for Utah Jazz Rookie, Donovan Mitchell’s mom. Mitchell’s on the court production has made the Jazz organization proud of trading for him on draft day, but he has made them even more proud of what he just recently did off the court. When the Utah Jazz draft a player, they aren’t just drafting him, they’re drafting his entire family. Luckily for the Mitchells, (according to a KSL article) they are used to sticking together as a family.

One month into his professional career, the rookie made a veteran move as he showed appreciation for the woman who raised him by surprising her with a brand-new Audi vehicle. It was a moment he has been waiting for the past few years. He made that well-known in the Instagram caption:

Mitchell is putting up solid numbers in his rookie season. He averages 28.2 minutes per game, which include 14.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals.
