Chances are you’ve at least heard about the heated Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers game on Monday, Jan. 15th. The crowd at the Staples Center had quite the entertainment, from a basketball game to a tribute, and almost a scuffle.
If things seemed heated on the court, they escalated quickly off the court when Chris Paul and fellow Rockets teammates crashed the Clippers locker room looking to fight. Security got involved and Paul and his teammates, including James Harden who is nursing a hamstring injury, were escorted back to the visitor’s locker room.
Quickly word got around to what had happened and NBA Legends Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley got a good laugh from the news.
Shaq and Charles have been around the league and have even fought each other at one point in their careers. I’m sure the reason they got a good kick out of it is because they know it’s the NBA and that they’re not really going to fight.
No word has been issued from the league as of yet (Jan. 16th) on if any charges, suspensions or fines will be handed out.
