Wu-Tang Clan Drama Coming to Hulu

The Unlikeliest of American Success Stories…

One of the most influential groups in hip-hop history will meet Hulu. The new drama series was announced last October and will explore the clan’s world.

Wu-Tang: An American Saga will be 10 episodes in length, with Alex Tse and RZA signing on to write and executive produce. Production on the project has yet to commence, however, the show has already found six of its cast members. Ashton Sanders will play RZA, while Siddiq Saunderson will portray Ghostface Killah.

Wu-Tang’s Legacy Awaits: From RZA’s production genius to GZA’s lyrical depth, uncover the stories that made them legends.

The series is set to follow the origins of the Wu-Tang Clan, taking place at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic in New York City. The group was a vision of RZA, who strived to unite a dozen young, black men that were torn between music and crime but eventually rose to become the unlikeliest of American success stories.

Brian Grazer, Francie Calfo, and Method Man will serve as executive producers while Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, GZA, and the Estate of Ol’ Dirty Bastard serve as consulting producers.

Do you have Hulu? Will you purchase it just to see this, or will you just borrow a friends account info?
