Weezy F Baby and the F is for Photoshop…
Despite numerous tweets that Lil Wayne had started promo for his long-awaited album Tha Carter V, it turns out someone simply wanted to have some fun with Photoshop. The billboard sent fans into a frenzy in hopes that Wayne would be dropping Tha Carter V soon. We should be getting the album before years end, but turns out Weezy has not begun any promotional phases (that we know of).

Seems like a legit billboard right? Well, one Twitter user was quick to point out that they had already seen the exact background from the image being circulated. The Los Angeles billboard actually dates back to 2016 from a Postmates advertising campaign.

Who knows, maybe Weezy wanted us to think that the billboard was fake, and that was his way to officially begin promotion? All I know is that the hype is real for his fifth album.
