Make sure you get the job…
If you are going in for a job interview, here’s what outfit color will help your chances to land the new gig?
According to a 2017 survey of 180 people who got hired and 1800 who didn’t, black is the standout winner. 70 percent of the people who wore mostly black were hired. Wearing black conveys leadership.
Hiring managers were also asked what colors are best and worst for interviews. Black and blue are the best options, gray is more on the safe side and just avoid brown and orange.
Make sure you also dress for the industry you are interviewing for and to not be too fashion-forward. If you don’t have the right attire try and borrow from friends and family. We need more libraries like this as well.
This library loans out ties and handbags so those with limited resources can go to job interviews https://t.co/qbeuy4tCbs pic.twitter.com/YuhjJpu8gy
