Shoutout to the good peeps at G.K. Folks Foundation kicking off the first annual AFRO UTAH FESTIVAL – a celebration in honor of African cultures here in Utah. I love anytime we can come together as Utahn’s to celebrate our ever-growing and diverse community. It’s an all-are-welcome family-friendly affair at The Gallivan Center this Saturday August 14th from 10AM-5PM. We gotta support our own, educate each other and recognize our Afro Black Culture and it’s community members doing the work from their Cultural Scholarship Program to the amazing work they do regarding Mental Health and their programs for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC).
