The wrong “Rockstar” was honored during the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 23rd).
As Da Baby went to the stage to pick up his award for Top Rap Song for his song, “Rockstar” featuring Roddy Rich, Post Malone’s song “Rockstar” played in the background. Twitter picked up on the mixup, however, it didn’t seem to bother DaBaby too much. As he jogged up on stage he pointed to the awards that were sitting out for him saying, “It’s Me? It’s Me?, I’ll live with that,” obviously poking fun at the blunder. DaBaby beat out Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé’s “Savage” and Cardi B and Megan’s hit single “WAP.”
