Thank you to every one for the prayers. Jasmine Mae is pushing close to 5 pounds now! As I write this, she is just 2 days away from her original due date. Sibling time is just as important as parent time. I love when my sons ask me, “When are we going to visit Jasmine Mae again?” It’s so amazing to see the reaction of Jasmine when she hears her brothers and sisters voices. I know Jaz enjoys their presence.
She has currently started with milk to mouth stimulation. Feedings by bottle or breast take time to develop due to her delicate respiratory. Jaz must first tolerate drops of milk while she sucks on a pacifier. She’s been on a feeding tube throughout her journey, so taking a bottle is something very new. It’s a process for preemies, especially micro-preemies. But she is doing well so far.
Snuggling and story time are the best! ALLIE YOU ROCK AT BEING A BIG SISTER!
