Last year Selena Gomez held the record for the most liked pic on Instagram. I’m sure you’ve seen it, shes gazing into the camera while seductively drinking from a Coca Cola bottle. Well, this year we have a new Queen Bey. According to a report from The Verge, Beyonce broke the internet with the number one liked photo of 2017: her pregnancy announcement.
On February 1st of this year, Beyonce posted a pic of her sitting down, surrounded by a bed of flowers wearing lingerie, and holding her pregnant belly. The pic gained over 11.1 million likes in just a few hours, and the internet went crazy. Seeing as when she was pregnant with Blue, the world called her bluff. Claiming she was never pregnant, because we never actually saw a naked belly pic. Birthing rumors that Bey & Jay had a surrogate. None the less, this pregnancy announcement won the year in likes on Instagram.
