Black Lives Matter movement nominated for Nobel peace prize

THE PEACE PRIZE IS RIGHT

Black Lives Matter Movement Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize Black Lives Matter went international following the death of George Floyd last May, kicking off protests against police brutality across the world. Now the movement is up for a Nobel peace prize. Petter Eide, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, announced the nomination saying, “They have had a tremendous achievement in raising global awareness and consciousness about racial injustice.”  As for criticisms that last summer’s demonstrations caused damages and violence in U.S. cities, Eide pointed to studies showing the opposite, noting “Of course, there have been incidents, but most of them have been caused by the activities of either the police or counter-protestors.”

Who else do you feel is deserving of a Nobel peace prize?
